Dr. Farouk El-Baz on NECN discussing "Muslims and Bush"

(NECN) - President Bush hosted a dinner to mark the season of Ramadan at the White House. Prominent Muslim Americans from the sciences and technology were this year's invited guests.
Among them was Farouk El-Baz of Boston University, who was recognized for his contributions to America's space program. Farouk says that he met with the president briefly, who had kind words for him.
Farouk, who had been critical of Bush in the past, said that if he could have talked with the president longer, he would have said that he could have been one of the greatest presidents in history. However his "Iraq venture" was a stumble and "a bad move based on nothing".
