Transforming the Culture of Academic Science and Engineering: Removing Barriers for Women
The National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, and the Institute of Medicine recently released the report "Beyond Bias and Barriers: Fulfilling the Potential of Women in Academic Science and Engineering." In response to this report the Boston University Women in Science and Engineering (BU WISE) committee is hosting a symposium to explore strategies for change. The discussion will be led by a panel of distinguished scientists, engineers, and scholars who are already changing the world for women.
