AusAID is now recruiting for this position. Applicants do not need to be an Australian citizen although this does make it much easier to get a high level security clearance (which is necessary for the position). Should a non Australian citizen be the preferred candidate it will take longer to get a security clearance (presuming there are no complicating factors).
