Treblemakers Winter Concert

Join us for The Treblemakers Annual Winter Concert. They are the University's premier co-ed a capella group, with a unique personality that shows in their original musical arrangements. Allegrettos: A Winter Wonderland

Allegrettos Annual Winter Concert. Tickets at the door. Admission: $7; $5 BU students; $3 A Cappella Members. Concert promises to be a fun filled event, including a guest performance by the Northeastern Bassix. The Allegrettos are one of the most entertaining coed a capella groups at the University. Their voices have been ringing through the halls of BU for over 10 years and have proven time and time again that they are one of the best, both inside and outside the concert hall.

In Achord Winter Concert

BU's oldest co-ed a cappella group's annual winter concert. Founded in 1990, In Achord is Boston University's oldest co-ed a cappella group. In recent years, In Achord has received distinct awards for its quality of arrangements, soloists, vocal percussion, and choreography. The group is the founder and host of the annual Beanpot of A Cappella, entering its 19th year as a fundraiser for the nearby Franciscan Hospital for Children. The group is also an annual host and competitor in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella.

Boston University Chamber Orchestra

Conducted by Richard Cornell and Geneviève LeClair, with the featured performance of Marc Johnson and Rhonda Rider, cello. Repertoire includes: Charles Ives: "Central Park in the Dark," the Boston premiere of Giacinto Scelsi: "Quattro pezzi" (su una nota sola), the Boston premiere of Ketty Nez: "beyond release," Duo Concertante for Two Cellos and Orchestra, and Samuel Barber: "Adagio for Strings." New England Philharmonic: Family Concert
