Evening Prayer with Communion

At the heart of the Boston University campus, we gather on for an evening prayer service with communion. The worship is marked by quiet liturgy, rousing singing and intimate community.

Thanksgiving Meal

Every year, there are students who are unable to find a community with which to share a Thanksgiving meal. This year, Marsh is opening its doors to provide a free meal and generous hospitality to meet this need. If you would like to bring food, we will gladly take it! Marsh Chapel: Sunday Worship

Get Some Spiritual Food While Eating Your Physical Food

Come and participate in or just observe our Brown Bag Scripture Study. Every Monday, people from a variety of religions will gather to discuss moral topics from different religious perspectives. Topics will include overcoming trials, repentance, "heaven", "hell", and many others. So bring your Bible, your Koran, your Talmud & Torah, your Book of Mormon & Doctrine and Covenants, or whatever spiritual text you believe. Please note: This is a meeting for all who are interested in building bridges of understanding and respect.

Chaplain's Study I: On the Origin of Species

Recent survey data suggests that one in three U.S. citizens find themselves caught in the tension between religion and science. In the fall of 2009, the bicentennial of the birth of Charles Darwin and the sesquicentennial of the publication of his landmark "On the Origin of Species," we will read this text elaborating the theory of evolution by means of natural selection and consider its implication for religious belief and the life of faith. Marsh Chapel Advent Workshop

Hosted by Marsh Chapel's Servant Team, the Advent Workshop starts with Christmas tree-trimming with the Marsh Chapel Choir. Other activities include decorating ginger bread men, making wreaths, ornaments, and prayer beads, all while munching on complimentary pizza provided by the Chapel. Feel free to drop in at any time.
