Summary

Student Discovery Seminars: Dream Makers of Broadway

Join Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center (HGARC) as we explore the imaginations and careers of some of Broadway’s greatest creative personalities. You will be guided on a tour of photographs, manuscripts and correspondence from actors and playwrights whose stage craft has dazzled us through the years. Review original manuscripts and handwritten letters from such theatre greats as Angela Lansbury, Jane Alexander, Betty Buckley, BD Wong, Tyne Daly, Mary-Louise Parker and Craig Lucas. See how these legends made their Broadway dreams come true. Speaker(s): Professor Jim Petosa, CFA Theatre, and Ted Murphy, Archivist, HGARC
