Summary UN Millennium Development Goals Discussion Panel
Description Event includes a description of each of the goals, their successes and failures, as well as analysis of the current situations and whether the goals will be reached by the target date, 2015. Experts will be specifically discussing the areas of poverty development, hunger, HIV/AIDS, environment, and UN peacekeeping. Speaker panel features a variety of panelists from the Boston area. Panelists include Professor Brook Baker, Northeastern University School of Law; Professor Charles Dunbar, CAS International Relations; Professor Susan Eckstein, CAS Sociology; Professor Henrik Selin, CAS International Relations; and Ajmal M. Qureshi, Harvard University Asia Center. Moderated by Masse Ndiaye, CAS Political Science.
