Free First Night Passover Seders at BU Hillel

Friday, April 19, 7:15 pm - 5 Seder Options at BU Hillel FREE to all BU students. Click here to sign-up. We have 5 options to make Passover your own! Each Seder has a different theme to help us feel liberated, and will be co-led with BU Students and Hillel staff. Since there is no right way to Seder, go with whichever is meaningful and fun for you. Food will be great and it's all FREE! All Seders will be Kosher for Passover. Some will follow the traditional format and others will be radically innovative. A Hardened Heart Seder: Is There Room for Hate in Judaism? (Reb Jevin Eagle and Connor Dedrick) - In every generation there is a Pharaoh who oppresses and hates. Join us as we look at the role of hatred in Judaism and the modern world. Traditional Seder: All Four Cups (Rabbi Elie Lehman, Miriam Yifrach and Madeleine Rassaby) - Join for a full haggadah experience, bringing the tradition alive through song, games and conversation. Everyone welcome regardless of previous seder experience. 45-Minute Seder: Just the Highlights (and the food) (Ben Hersch and Jessica Ayer)  Israeli Seder: Kibbutz Style! (Orr Grosman) - Come where for the chill kibbutz vibes and learn how the secular Israelis celebrate community and agriculture. Tikkun Olam Seder (Ethan Sobel, Ruthie Erickson, Levi Golden and Lauren Gruber) - This 1 hour 25 minute experience takes you through scenes and experiences from history through today exploring "freedom." Join us in a comfy living room setting as we dive deep into issues of oppression and modern day related triumph and victories. Required signup deadline for 1st seder at Hillel: Wednesday, April 17th
