Dining Out In Boston: A Culinary History

#BUCPUA Professor Jim O’Connell will be making an illustrated presentation based upon his new book — Dining Out in Boston: A Culinary History. The book, which is the first comprehensive history of Boston restaurants, uses an extensive array of historic menus and photos to explain how the city was a pioneer in elaborate hotel dining, oyster houses, ostentatious banquets, ice cream parlors, ethnic cooking, and the colonial revival of traditional New England dishes. Open to all faculty, students, alumni + friends.
