A graduate of Boston University School of Law, Dawn Ryan is the Attorney-in-Charge of Kings County Criminal Defense Practice of The Legal Aid Society, an office consisting of 140 attorneys and a support staff of 50. She was formerly both the Deputy Attorney-in-Charge and Director of Staff Development at the Society. She is also an adjunct clinical professor at Brooklyn Law School and a member of the Women’s Bar Association, National Legal Aid and Defender Association and Brooklyn Bar Association.
