Muriel’s more than 20-year career started when she practiced bankruptcy and commercial finance law with a large firm in Connecticut and has continued to prosper with United Technologies – Carrier Corporation, which she joined in 1994 as a Legal Counsel in their Paris office. Since then, Muriel has been involved in mergers, acquisitions, and other business ventures with entities across the world. Now based in Connecticut, Muriel’s role at United Technologies has spanned a variety of roles, from Executive Assistant to the Carrier President to Vice President of a variety of commercial units and international regions. United Technologies Corporation is a Hartford, Connecticut-based provider of a broad range of high-technology products and services to the aerospace and building systems industries worldwide ($58 billion revenues in 2008). Carrier is the world’s largest provider of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration solutions. With revenues of approximately $15 billion in 2008, Carrier has 41,000 employees worldwide and operations in 170 countries.
