Joy Gordon has written extensively on international law, foreign affairs and ethics. She has testified before Congress regarding the UN sanctions on Iraq, and has published in the Atlantic Monthly, Harper’s, The Nation, Ethics and International Affairs, Le Monde Diplomatique, Arab Studies Quarterly, and the Yale Journal of Development and Human Rights Law. She has a Ph.D. from Yale University and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law. She is a professor in the Philosophy Department at Fairfield University, and is currently a Senior Fellow at the Global Justice Program in the Macmillan Center at Yale University.
