Investment Fund Roundtable

Tamar Frankel and William Birdthistle will be hosting the third annual roundtable on investment funds in the Boston University School of Law. Investment funds are currently enjoying a great deal of ferment: in the past two Terms, the Supreme Court of the United States granted certiorari in two high profile mutual fund cases, Jones v. Harris and Janus v. FDT. In addition, Congress has recently passed the Dodd-Frank bill and the Securities and Exchange Commission has enacted important new fund regulations. A small group of leading mutual fund scholars, practitioners, and regulators will discuss the industry's latest developments and future prospects regarding litigation and regulation.
