opening event of
2001-2002
Professor Randall Poole will lead a discussion of his paper, which is drawn from his translation of Problems of Idealism, forthcoming from Yale UP next fall:
"The Philosophy and Politics of Russian Liberalism, 1900-1905."
Light refreshments will be provided.
Please feel free to invite any colleagues and students who may be interested. The introduction to Prof. Poole's forthcoming book on Russian liberalism is attached in Word. Seminar participants are encouraged to read at least the following pages in advance of the gathering on October 9th: pp. 1-12, 28-37, 55-60, 88-95.
