Description

Dr. Brian McKercher will lead an IHI seminar discussion of his argument about British strength and relative American weakness during the interwar period. He will include a response to his (generally, American) critics. Dr. McKercher is Professor of History and Chair of War Studies at the Royal Military College of Canada. Copies of Professor McKercher's paper, "The Realities of Power and Responsibility: Britain and the United States, 1919-1939," will be made available upon request to IHI@bu.edu
