Join us as three recent BU alumni reflect on their experiences in public service: -Tyler Fields (CAS '16; Questrom '16): Associate Director - Executive Office of the President, the White House -Daniel Lesser (Questrom ’17): Program Director of New Urban Mechanics for the City of Boston -Andrew Vargas (CAS ’15): Haverhill City Councilor and candidate for State Representative -Shari Davis (SAR ’10, ’12): Director of Strategic Initiatives for Participatory Budgeting Project; formerly with the Boston Mayor’s Youth Council The panelists will discuss their experiences, surprises, disappointments, and lessons-learned in a moderated conversation open to Q&A. Co-hosted by Boston University’s Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground, Pardee School of Global Studies, Initiative on Cities, Federal Relations, Global Programs, Alumni Relations, BU Today, and Community Service Center.
