Boston University School of Theatre and STAMP present one of the most powerful and innovative plays of the last century. Lorca wrote his best known play years after reading a newspaper account of a young bride who abandoned her husband-to-be to escape with her sweetheart. This highly physical, new adaptation of the surrealistic tragedy of fate explores the forces outside of human control that enable everyday people, caught in the throes of passion, to behave in ways they never dreamed possible.
