;These letters concern the state of religion in Scotland, the feeling ton the Reb. Mr. Whitefield and some references to the war with France. The 1758 letter has a notation in Foxcroft's hand "Sent open to T.F. for perusal, took this copy and then sent away the letter and packet via Rev. Mr. Hawley to Col. Dwight of Northampton to be forwarded to Mr. Edward's widow." Also included are undated drafts of two letters by Thomas Foxcroft [to Erskine?]. [Foxcroft Papers]
