Abstract Submission

Deadline for Abstract Submission:  July 15, 2006
Notification of Acceptance will be by:  September 15, 2006

To submit an abstract, please fill out the form below and follow the abstract format. Abstracts will be published as a supplement to the Amyloid Journal and will be available at the meeting.  One abstract per first author may be submitted.

You must also complete the CME disclosure form and Content Validation Agreement (Adobe PDF) and return it with your abstract submission for your abstract to be reviewed.  It should be either faxed to 617-638-4493 or emailed to kcarthy@bu.edu.

Abstract format:  Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, or Rich Text Format.  If your abstract uses Greek letters, please send in a Microsoft Word document. Please use 8, 9, or 10 point Arial and the order below.  Total abstract size must not exceed 3.25 inches (width) x 4.5 inches (length).

  • Title (in bold)
  • Authors: Use last name and initials, ie, Smith AB, Jones CD, etc.
  • Institution: Name, city, country
  • Summary:  Include brief description of purpose, methods, results, conclusions.

Review your document prior to uploading to ensure that it is correctly formatted. You will not be able to view it after uploading.

An extended abstract will be published in a meeting proceedings book as has been done for previous symposiums.  Extended abstracts are limited to 3 pages and must follow the Proceedings book directions.  Please bring on a Microsoft word document on CD at the time of the meeting.  The deadline for extended abstracts is November 15th. 

Late breaking abstracts will be considered for presentation if submitted before October 1st and if they represent new and substantial research reports.  We will not be able to publish late breaking abstracts in the Amyloid Journal Supplement, but they may be published as an extended abstract in the Proceedings Book.
