Imaging
The focus of imaging research at the Photonics Center is at the micro (or cellular level) vs. macro (or tissue level) in order to understand the dynamics and mechanisms of cell growth and apoptosis. There is a strong research effort in microscopy techniques, wavefront control, adaptive optics, detector technology and signal and signal processing.
