Photonics/NSF Research Experiences for Teachers and Undergraduates Programs Featured in BU Today

The BU Photonics Center is proud to host the National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) and Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) programs during the summer of 2015.  The program aims to give underrepresented minority undergraduates and teachers who work in underresourced schools exposure to engineering and work in the Photonics labs.  Photonics Professors Bennett Goldberg, Xin Zhang and Helen Fawcett have served as PIs of the program.  To read the full article in BU Today, click here.

Photonics Center Receives Mass Life Sciences Center Grant for Business Innovation Center

The Boston University Photonics Center has been awarded a $363,750 grant by the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, which will be used to improve the biophotonics facilities at the Photonics Center Business Innovation Center.  This achievement has received attention in the press including in BU Today and The Daily Free Press.
