Friday Colloquium Series

The Friday Colloquia are a series of lectures sponsored by the Department of Philosophy at Boston University. Speakers normally provide their paper a week or two in advance, and then begin their presentation with a summary of the paper. The audience should have already read the paper. The remainder of the time is devoted to discussion. Participants may obtain copies of the speaker’s paper by contacting the Philosophy Department. These colloquia, which are almost always held on a Friday, run no longer than two hours.
