We are looking for qualified candidates interested in becoming Clinical Research Associates, Clinical Data Analysts and Clinical Supply Specialists with PAREXEL  International’s Clinical Research Services group.  

Through an exciting partnership with Salem State University, candidates selected will join PAREXEL on January 31st for a 2 day orientation and then attend classes at Salem State University for a 7 week training program. New hires will earn a post-graduate certificate in clinical research and trial management and then being their full time role with PAREXEL as a Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Supply Specialist of Clinical Data Analyst in our Billerica, MA office.

The program is an investment in the learning journey of our junior talent to prepare them for a rewarding and challenging career experience with PAREXEL. The training they receive should prepare and position them as well-rounded and skilled employees in the area of clinical research and trial management

The curriculum is marked by rich modules in the following areas: Drug Development Processes, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Monitoring/Site Management, Clinical Data Management, Clinical Logistics, Client Relationships

Alliance for the Prudent Use of Antibiotics (APUA)

The APUA internship/co-op program is intended to offer qualified applicants unique learning experiences concerning nonprofit administration; public health programming and communications at the national and international levels. Interns are assigned projects and receive broad exposure to all aspects of the organization, and many facets of pharmaceutical policy, research, and consumer and provider education.

Internship Duties:

Support research and educational projects

Support in development and grant writing related to antibiotic use, development, and antibiotic resistance

Meeting coordination and other administrative activities

Communications management and materials development for the APUA website, blog and social media outlets

Drafting of press releases, editorials, media advisories, and educational materials

Public relations and outreach campaigns

Liaison with stakeholders, consultants, and media

Provide information and outreach to APUA international chapters


 B.A. or B.S. working toward MPH or other graduate degree

6-month commitment: 24 hours/week

Start date is negotiable.
