On Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 1 p.m. GMT (9 a.m. EDT), Jonathan Kiliko, head of customer services at the Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies (MEDS), will discuss the organization’s business model. MEDS delivers quality and affordable essential medicines and medical supplies to over 1900 corporate clients in rural East and Central Africa.  Learn the basics of the model, its successes, challenges, and potential replicability.

Jonathan Kiliko has over 20 years of experience as a senior medical supply chain manager, with a speciality in marketing and strategic management. As the head of customer services, he oversees MEDS’ customer services, training, public relations, marketing, and communication. He is also in charge of developing customer service standards and ensuring that they meet the organization’s strategic objectives.

Kiliko has a Master’s in Business Administration (University of Nairobi, Kenya) and is a Ph. D candidate (University of Nairobi, Kenya) specializing in strategic management. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in education, economics, and business administration from Kenyatta University, Kenya.
