SAS -- PRINTING FROM AN X WINdows SESSION
To a local printer
You will first need to save the SAS programs, SAS log files and SAS output files into separate files on your ACS account (using the File -> Save option inside the respective windows). Then, to print from the local printer attached to your computer, you will need to transfer the files from ACS onto your personal computer using an FTP program.
To a public lab printer, such as those at 111 Cummington
You will first need to save the SAS programs, SAS log files and SAS output files into separate files on your ACS account (using the File -> Save option inside the respective windows). Then, to print to the printers in the basement of 111 Cummington Street computer lab, you will use the "lpr" command on the ACS window prompt.
