Boston University offers three types of network connections: high-speed Ethernet or wireless for residence halls and offices, and modem dial-up numbers in the 617 area code. If you are at home (and outside the local Boston calling area) you should consider setting up a subscription with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) other than Boston University.
