Please note that students residing off campus are encouraged to use public transportation via the MBTA Semester Pass Program or use other commuter options rather than bringing vehicles to campus due to very limited parking availability.
The following process and eligibility requirements must be met to purchase a Blue (Commuter) parking permit.
- Students residing in Allston, Brighton, Brookline, Fenway/Kenmore, and Back Bay are not eligible to purchase a parking permit.
- Students residing outside of the neighborhoods noted above must provide a copy of their current apartment lease or a current utility bill to confirm their residence location at time of purchase.
Parking permits must be purchased at the Parking & Transportation Services, 1019 Commonwealth Avenue. Parking & Transportation Services is open weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The office will also be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of Move In Weekend, September 3-5. Fall opening extended hours are until 6 p.m. on Tuesday – Thursday, September 6-8, and Monday, September 12.
When purchasing your parking permit at the office, please remember to bring your Terrier Card. While your vehicle registration is not required, it may help you fill out your parking permit application as we require the vehicle’s make, model, year, color, and license plate number.
- Marked spaces in most lots (Lot F closed on May 16, 2016. Lot will reopen in Fall 2017)
- No parking in lots A, C-1, C-2, N, O, and S
- No overnight parking
