If you have a rental vehicle for less than a week, you must go to an attended lot to obtain a substitute vehicle pass each day.
For rentals of any period longer than a week, all permit holders must come to the Parking & Transportation Services office to obtain a temporary permit. Please be sure to bring the rental car information (make, model, plate) when planning to obtain a temporary permit.

When vehicle information is changed, a new permit must be obtained. To receive the new permit, come to the Parking & Transportation Services office with the new vehicle information and the old parking permit. Your application will be updated with the new vehicle information and a new permit will be issued.
If you have a permit on a hanger and the vehicle has changed but not the license plate, you are able to change this information at our office without the need for a new permit.
If the old permit is not returned, a $75 lost permit fee will be charged.
How can I discontinue my parking permit?
To discontinue your parking permit, you must return your parking permit to the Parking & Transportation Services office. All permits except for the Black and White permits are eligible for a pro-rated refund.
We recommend that anyone returning a permit do so at the end of the week. As permits are prorated weekly, a permit returned at any point during the week will be charged the full weekly amount.
If the permit was purchased by credit card, please bring the same card when returning the permit.
