BU Information Security Shredding Event

Every year during the month of October, as part of National Cyber-Security Awareness Month, Boston University conducts an annual Information Security Awareness Campaign. We are happy to announce, in conjunction with the IS&T Tech Fair, that we will once again be offering 3 days of free paper shredding and collection of unwanted computing equipment to be securely destroyed and recycled. Materials brought for shredding on 10/9 or 10/10 will earn you a prize at the IS&T Tech Fair on 10/10. Additionally, we are collaborating with both BUMC IT and sustainability@BU so that we may provide a more holistic service to the BU community. This is also a good opportunity to familiarize yourself with the University's Record Retention Policy. Do you have old University records that need shredding? Bring them over and let us shred them for you!
