"The Eighth Annual Bach Cantata Series"
Join the Marsh Chapel Choir and Collegium for an exploration of one of J. S. Bach's magnificent church cantatas. The morning begins with a lecture-demonstration of the musical structure and theological underpinnings of the piece, presented by Director of Music Scott Allen Jarrett. A complimentary breakfast follows. The piece is then performed in its original liturgical context during the 11:00am worship service.
Four cantatas are presented each academic year. The full schedule is below:
