Walk-In Faculty Flu Vaccines

Do not forget to get your flu vaccine before the New Year! The Occupational Health Center is still offering influenza (flu) vaccine at no cost to Boston University employees. We encourage you to get the vaccine during one of the scheduled clinics to protect yourself, your colleagues and your family. For information regarding the 2012-2013 flu vaccine please refer to the Occupational Health Center's website at http://www.bu.edu/buohc. If you have any questions regarding the vaccine or clinic schedule please firstname.lastname@example.org. Walk-In Clinic Dates/Times: Please walk-in during the dates and times listed below. These clinics will be open to all BU employees who have yet to receive the flu vaccine. Medical Campus BU Office of Human Resources, Crosstown Building, 4th Floor, 801 Massachusetts Ave Friday, December 7th 12:00 – 3:00 Charles River Campus BU Occupational Health Center, 1st Floor, 930 Commonwealth Ave, West (Entrance on Pleasant Street) Monday, December 10th 12:00 – 3:00 AND Wednesday, December 12th 10:00 – 1:00 Please note: -If the dates and times noted above do not work for you please call (617) 353-6630 to schedule an appointment. -MA DPH recommends that all health care providers receive the influenza vaccine unless contraindicated. -Parking on the Charles River Campus – the Agganis Arena (lots A and C-2) offers free parking for faculty and staff with valid BU parking permits. You should not receive the vaccine if: -You have a severe allergy to eggs. -You have had a severe reaction to an influenza vaccination. -You have developed Guillain-Barre syndrome within 6 weeks of getting an influenza vaccine. -You are moderately-to-severely ill.
