Charles River Campus Flu Vaccine Clinic (Employees Only)

The Occupational Health Center will be offering influenza (flu) vaccine at no cost to Boston University employees. We encourage you to get the vaccine during one of the scheduled clinics to protect yourself, your colleagues and your family. For information regarding the 2012-2013 flu vaccine please refer to the Occupational Health Center's website at http://www.bu.edu/buohc. If you have any questions regarding the vaccine or clinic schedule please email buohc@bu.edu. If you have any specific concerns about receiving the flu vaccine you may also contact your primary care physician. Please walk-in during the dates and times listed below that correspond with the first initial of your last name. If you are unable to come on your designated date, you may walk-in during one of the other scheduled clinics. Please note that the clinics listed below will be held on the Charles River Campus. Influenza vaccine clinics will also be held at the Boston University Medical Campus. A broadcast notification regarding the Medical Campus clinics will be disseminated shortly. Walk-In Clinic Dates/Times: First Initial of Last Name: A - G Monday, October 1st 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM First Initial of Last Name: H – L Tuesday, October 2nd 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM; 3:00 – 5:30 PM First Initial of Last Name: M – P Wednesday, October 3rd 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM First Initial of Last Name: Q – T Thursday, October 4th 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM; 3:00 – 5:30 PM First Initial of Last Name: U – Z Friday, October 5th 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Location: BU Occupational Health Center, 930 Commonwealth Ave, West (Entrance on Pleasant Street), Charles River Campus You should not receive the vaccine if: · You have a severe allergy to eggs. · You have had a severe reaction to an influenza vaccination. · You have developed Guillain-Barre syndrome within 6 weeks of getting an influenza vaccine. · You are moderately-to-severely ill. Please wait until you recover to get vaccinated. Please note: · MA DPH recommends that all health care providers receive the influenza vaccine unless contraindicated. · Wear a short sleeve shirt to enable easier access to your upper arm area. · The Agganis Arena (lots A and C-2) offers free parking for faculty and staff with valid BU parking permits. · Parking in the Dummer Street garage will not be validated.
