About the Program
The Parents Program is a University-wide effort to nurture a strong community of Boston University parents. It is one of the program’s top priorities to see that each of you feels a part of the BU spirit on campus and in your home state or country. The Parents Program’s priorities are enhanced communication, outreach, and fundraising for the Boston University Parents Annual Campaign.
To keep you abreast on University news and activities, the Parents Program produces a semiannual magazine just for parents, titled Boston University Parent. Additionally, you may choose to sign up for e-Parent, a monthly electronic newsletter, to stay connected to happenings on campus.
Throughout the academic year, the Parents Program collaborates with BU parents to host receptions around the country. These events allow parents to interact with other BU families and meet the Dean of Students, Kenneth Elmore, or the Vice President for Enrollment and Student Affairs, Laurie Pohl. Please visit our events section for more information on the parents receptions planned for the 2008–2009 academic year.
Whether your child is a first-year student or a soon-to-be graduate, the Parents Program wishes for you an enriching experience as part of the Boston University community. If there is anything that the Parents Program can do to better your experience, please do not hesitate to contact us.
