Parents Ambassador Program
As a branch of the BU Parents Program, the Ambassador Program serves to nurture a strong community of Boston University parents, in order to feel the BU spirit on campus and in their home state or country through various volunteer opportunities.
The following are a list of opportunities for involvement:
Admissions Receptions
- Attend receptions to meet with and talk to parents of prospective BU applicants.
Career Services
- Support students in the exploration of personal and professional career goals.
- Serve as a resource for students who may be considering a specific field or profession; talk to students over the phone, in person, or by e-mail.
Alternative Spring Break
- Host a group of ASB volunteers in your home for lunch, dinner, or a snack.
Summer Orientation
- Attend Summer Orientation sessions to connect with parents of incoming freshmen.
Summer Send-Offs
- Host incoming freshmen, parents, current students, faculty, and staff at a reception in your home before the fall semester.
- Serves as a great way for students in your area to meet before they arrive at BU and is a venue where parents can gather and ask questions.
Dinner for 10 Terriers
