GEGI: "25 Years after 1989, Do East Europeans Live Better?" (Lecture)

The aftermath of communism dashed many hopes about immediate and substantial improvements in living standards across the former Eastern Bloc. Twenty-five years later, it has become clear that the region looks more like a mosaic. A talk on the topic will be presented by Cornel Ban, Assistant Professor at the Pardee School of Global Studies. Lunch available at 12:30 the talk will begin at 1 pm.
