Najam spoke on two panels at the Ideas Conclave, entitled “After Shanghai: The End of Unipolarity” and “Climate Security: Is Pakistan Prepared?” During the first panel, Najam argued that unipolarity cannot sustain for the same reason that history cannot end. He said that we are currently witnessing a new global disorder fed by the politics of anti-politics and the rise of strongmen.
Enjoyed & learnt from being on the panel on Unipolority @JinnahInstitute’s #IdeasConclave
My point: Unipolarity cannot sustain for the same reason that history cannot end. What we are seeing is a new Global Disorder fed by the politics of Anti-Politics and the rise of Strongmen! pic.twitter.com/Dphmw69B9N
