Retreat1

The faculty and staff of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University gathered for their fourth annual retreat on September 9, 2017 to plan for the new academic year and discuss the long-term strategic goals and priorities of the school.

In what has become an annual tradition, the retreat provides an opportunity for all faculty and staff to gather for an intensive all-day set on discussions on key strategic issues. The theme of this year’s discussion was, “The Student Experience at the Pardee School: In and Out of Class.”

The retreat brought together full-time faculty, lecturers and Directors of the centers and institutes housed at the Pardee School. Discussions were led by Pardee School Dean Adil Najam and Associate Dean William Grimes. Dean Najam kicked off the retreat by delivering his annual “State of the School” presentation.

The Pardee School retreat was held at The Boston University Ellipse at 100 Bay State Road.
