@BUPardeeSchool: 2014’s Top Global Stories

ISIS? Boko Haram? Crimea? Chaos in the Middle East? Ebola? Spy Scandals? US-China Climate Deal? A new Pope? MH370? MH17?

Which was the most important international news or event of the year 2014? Which will have the deepest global implications? Which will we still be talking about next year? Which will shape international politics of the future?

2014-Review1

The Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University has been asking our professors what they think were the most important global news stories or events of 2014. We have begun posting their views on our Twitter feed (with the hashtag  #2014inReview). We will continue doing so for the rest of December. At the end of the year we plan to curate all their choices in an overview feature to see what patterns emerge.

Follow us on Twitter @BUPardeeSchool as we post new faculty choices every day. Or check out hashtag #2014inReview for what Pardee School professors choose as their top stories of the year. We will try to post opinions of as many professors as we can by the end of December.
