The Current and Future Socioeconomic Impacts of Climate Change in China

Join us at the Pardee Center on Thursday, November 29 from 12:00 – 1:30 pm for a discussion with Tao Ye, a Professor of Geographical Science at Beijing Normal University. Prof. Ye is the general coordinator of a national R&D project led by Beijing Normal University to evaluate the effects of climate change on socioeconomic systems in China, and to quantify the risks (e.g. affected population, crop yield damage, and GDP loss) over the course of the next several decades. Lunch will be provided.
