Experts Discuss Case for Transition Away from Natural Gas at Pardee Center Seminar

Nathan Phillips, a Professor in the Department of Earth & Environment and a Faculty Associate at the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, recently led a discussion on the economic case for an energy transition away from natural gas at a seminar held at the Pardee Center on February 1.

Prof. Phillips was joined by Ann Berwick, Director of Sustainability for the City of Newton, Audrey Schulman, President of Home Energy Efficiency Team (HEET), and Jessica Wright, a PhD candidate in the BU Department of Earth & Environment.

The seminar included a wide-ranging discussion with the approximately 35 students, faculty, staff, and community members in attendance. The seminar can be viewed in its entirety in the video above.
