Pardee Task Force Report Cited in Council on Foreign Relations Article

Task Force 2 coverThe Pardee Center Task Force Report Capital Account Regulations and the Trading System: A Compatibility Review is cited in an April 25, 2013 article at the Council on Foreign Relations website by Terra Lawson-Remer titled, Economic Instability, Capital Controls, and Bilateral Investment Treaties. The article reflects on a round table discussion with Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz and  the disproportional effects of unregulated capital flows on the poor and the constraint of Bilateral Investment Treaties on capital regulations. The  Pardee Task Force Report is the product of the Pardee Center Task Force on Regulating Capital Flows for Long-Run Development and builds on the Task Force’s first report published in March 2012.
