FTIR

Bruker VERTEX 70v Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) vacuum spectrometer with Infrared-Systems silicon bolometer, and Janis continuous-flow liquid-helium cryostat for temperature-resolved electroluminescence, optical-transmission, photoluminescence, and photo-current measurements. Includes a Hyperion Microscope attached for specialised transmission and reflection tests.

OPTICAL MEASUREMENT SETUPS

High-spatial-resolution setup for transmission, reflection, and (angle-resolved) photoluminescence measurements, including an Ocean Optics visible/UV lamp and miniature spectrometer, Power-Technologies violet and blue diode lasers, piezo-controlled translational and rotational stages, and various high-numerical-aperture microscope objectives.

High-power optical parametric oscillator from OPOTEK for fluorescence measurements at visible and midinfrared wavelengths.

SPECTROSCOPY MEASUREMENT SETUP

Ultrafast measurement setup for pump-probe spectroscopy and nonlinear waveguide characterization at near-infrared wavelengths, including Calmar-Optcom femtosecond fiber laser, Femtochrome second-harmonic autocorrelator, and tunable laser, optical spectrum analyzer, and 40-GHz sampling oscilloscope with optical interface from Agilent.
