Tobacco Teaching
and Training
Medical students taking this elective are trained in tobacco prevention/cessation
and health education. After completing this training, medical students
train adolescent tobacco education leaders (ATELs), who educate peers
in tobacco prevention.
Materials Available
‘Smoking Sleuths’ curriculum for elementary and middle
schools
includes: 4 module lesson plans, pre- and post-test, vocabulary
and field experience worksheets, puzzles, games
