Overnight
guests at Sargent Center will find several options for rest and
revitalization.
Cabins and Dormitories
Named for great nature
writers—like Robert
Frost, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Henry David Thoreau—Sargent
Center’s cabins and dormitories offer four-season comfort
while maintaining the rustic atmosphere of the outdoors.
Sargent Center can accommodate up to 150 guests throughout the
year (an additional 60 in the summer)*
in our cabins and dorms, which feature:
- Bunk beds
- Shared baths
- Thermostat-controlled heat
- Private meeting space (in select buildings)
*Cabins sleep 4 to 50 each;
dormitories 30 to 50
Yurt Villages
Our unique yurt villages ensure a memorable weekend or weeklong
retreat at Sargent Center. Each of the two yurt villages consists
of 5 round, unheated canvas tents that rest on wooden platforms
organized around a central campfire. This lower cost alternative
to cabins offers a terrific community atmosphere amidst the tranquility
of pine trees, singing birds, and the crackle of the fire.
Sargent Center can accommodate up to 58 guests in the yurt
villages,
which feature:
- Modern bathhouses with hot and cold running water, toilets,
and showers
- Stone fire pits with metal grates for cooking
- Open-sided pavilions
with picnic tables
Yurts are available
for group rental May 1 – June 15
