School Program Employment Opportunities
School Program at Sargent
Center creatively hosts over 3,000 fifth to eighth grade students
from across New England each year for adventures in outdoor education.
Students and their teachers join us for extraordinary overnight
learning experiences in Sargent Center’s living classroom
of forest, stream, and meadow.
Our programs seek to provide students with an understanding of
their importance in the worlds’ social and environmental
future. School Program at Sargent Center shows students that they
can make a difference by encouraging them to appreciate not only
the environment, but their own potential.
As a New England school tradition since the first sixth grade
students arrived at Sargent Center in 1950, our highly respected
curriculum succeeds through the efforts of talented instructors
who collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver powerful,
challenging, and memorable outdoor lessons in three curriculum
areas: Adventure, The
Environment, and Outdoor
Skills.
We invite you to participate in this exciting endeavor by joining
us as a member of the School Program staff.
