Adventure Camp Employment Opportunities
No ordinary summer job
If you’re looking for an extraordinary way to spend your
summer, then we invite you to join the Adventure
Camp staff at Boston University’s Sargent
Center for Outdoor Education.
You’ll have a great time leading our summer camp kids as
they kayak, mountain
bike, climb, hike,
and swim their way through
some of the most beautiful areas in New England, the Adirondacks
of New York, and Canada.
You’ll forge lasting friendships with the other camp staff
members, and you’ll grow as an individual from the goals
and challenges you’ll meet along the way. Most importantly,
you will make an incredible difference in the lives of children
at an unforgettable outdoor summer camp program.
As an Adventure Camp staff member you’ll:
- Earn competitive pay
- Receive training from leading outdoor and experiential educators
- Gain professional experience at one of the nation’s
oldest—and most respected—outdoor education centers
- Build skills in outdoor leadership, group management, and
program planning
Choose your own adventure
We don’t call it Adventure Camp for nothing! Every year,
children ages 10-17 join us for a variety of summer
camp programs that range from six to twenty-six days in length.
We take great pride in offering a challenging, coeducational outdoor
summer camp experience in a supportive community setting. As an
Adventure Camp staff member, you will have the unique opportunity
to guide campers as they tackle exciting challenges, master outdoor
skills, and make new friends.
