How to join the Adventure Camp staff

We are delighted that you are considering spending your summer with us at Adventure Camp.

We seek people with diverse skills and experience to meet our staffing needs. We select applicants with a willingness to learn and work hard as a team player to create a great summer experience for children.

A commitment to quality programming, attention to safety, a positive attitude, a sense of humor, and the desire to contribute to a successful community are a must!

Before you apply, be sure to view details about our summer camp activities on the Adventure Camp website.

You’ll want to keep the following guidelines in mind when you apply:

  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age; however, some positions require that candidates are at least 21 years of age.
  • We’re looking for candidates with team spirit, good communication skills, and prior experience working with children. Some positions require significant prior
program leadership experience and technical skills.
  • Specific staff positions require various certifications. At minimum, all staff must be currently certified in Red Cross Community First Aid and CPR.
  • Room and board will be provided.
  • Working at Adventure Camp is an eight- to nine-week commitment that involves pre-camp training and post-camp wrapup.
  • All applicants will be interviewed in person or by phone.
  • The earlier you apply, the better.
  • You’re making a great decision—you’ll receive world-class training and have the experience of a lifetime.
