Instructors from Stonehearth Outdoor Learning Opportunities (SOLO) will lead this intensive two-day course which introduces students to wilderness first aid and long-term patient care. The American Camp Association recognizes this course as meeting their first aid requirements for camp staff. The course is recommended for trip leaders, camp counselors, guides, rescue personnel, and outdoor enthusiasts. It is appropriate for new students as well as those wishing to recertify.

Buffet style meals feature vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices; special dietary needs can often be accommodated with advance notice. Residential guests stay in three-season, unheated yurts with frame beds. Yurts are adjacent to a bathhouse with hot water, electricity, showers, and washrooms, and are conveniently located near the classroom.
Space is limited and fills on a first come, first served basis.
