Sargent's Challenge
Ages 15-16 | On-site:
In 1912, Dr. Dudley Sargent built Sargent Center to
support people being active, having fun, and
improving health through the out-of-doors.
His successful efforts almost 100 years ago are still
enjoyed by us today! Your challenge will begin with
building group teamwork skills through adventure
activities and high ropes. Then test those skills by
working on two service projects in camp and
beyond. In camp, you’ll work with our staff to
support current and/or initiate new projects for our community. Then you’ll
travel off-site for three days and engage in projects serving the surrounding
community. As a former camper said, “I learned that when a group of
dedicated people work together efficiently, a lot can be accomplished.”
