How to Submit a New Idea to OTD

The Idea submission process should only take about 15 minutes. Follow these steps to submit a new idea using our SharePoint Portal.

1. Log on to our SharePoint site: http://otds.bu.edu/ and enter your AD login (example: ad\username) (or AD2) and password (Try the password for your Windows login, if that does not work then try your Kerberos password).

Your Login window will look similar to this if you are using Windows XP:

2. The site you see should look similar to this:

3. Click Submit Idea on the OTDS page

4. Fill out the form in the window that pops up

5. Click Submit

After your Idea is received by OTD you will receive a confirmatory e-mail.
